Your role

The purpose of the role is to be the technical lead on financial products, guidance and advice, and lead on the financial guidance & advice policy development to enable compliant and effective automated guidance and advice customer journeys.

Your responsibilities

  • Review and interpret new and existing tax, product and regulatory requirements and explain them accurately and clearly
  • Review new publications from the regulator and keep up to date with technical and Financial Services industry developments to understand and highlight potential implications for our services and opportunities for innovation
  • Prepare technical documentation and briefing notes for key stakeholders in the business
  • Lead the process to develop and review financial guidance and advice policies which set guiderails for the agile development of automated services, obtaining sign off for those policies from Compliance, Investment and Advice Committees
  • Act as technical advice consultant to internal product development teams and contribute to ideation and discovery of potential new services or enhancements
  • Act as technical advice consultant to external prospects and customers of our white-label platform: liaising with their policy team and compliance / quality functions
  • Supporting sales by providing technical expertise for example in prospect engagement, seminars and drafting technical prospect facing articles, technical PR etc
  • Ensure high standards of change control, record keeping and governance around our policies and technical documentation
  • Ensure any associated business risks are understood and are being managed.
  • Adhere to all Information Security policies and procedures

Your experience

  • Experienced in clearly and accurately explaining and documenting technical details related to regulated financial products, guidance and advice
  • Relevant qualifications (eg Diploma Qualified - QCF level 4, )
  • Experience in the delivery, operation or supervision of Regulated financial advice
