The purpose of the role is to ensure the company remains compliant, both now and into the future and that all appropriate processes are followed.

JOB PURPOSE

The purpose of this role is to work in conjunction the Client Services Managers, specifically on pensions and payroll to provide efficient administration and accurate payroll provision for employers and employees using Pension Wizard.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Pensions

  • Accurately perform and check all types of benefit calculations whilst thoroughly understanding the methods of calculations
  • Assist with the implementation of agreed changes to the administration process and procedures
  • Provide clear information and assistance to all pension fund members in relation to day to day matters
  • Support as required in data cleansing, benefit changes, liability reduction exercises and ad hoc tasks

Payroll

  • Input all changes into the payroll system, covering contractual and benefits changes
  • Liaise with the payroll provider if required regarding any implementation of changes
  • Liaise with the employer regarding any queries that arise from data reconciliation
  • Ensure new starters and leavers are actioned accurately on the payroll system
  • Assist in preparing payroll related reports for the HR team as and when required

 General

  • Keeping up to date with pension legislation and tax laws
  • Process requests for valuation of pension benefits
  • Check and verify work undertaken
  • Co-ordinate and process the annual review activities for both contributions and investment
  • Support Para planners with pension administration
  • Provide monthly employer information relating to the take up of Pension Wizard
  • Resolve and respond to pension enquiries with prompt and accurate information, verbal and written, demonstrating attention to customer care
  • Assist in the development and implementation of improved working practices
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties within the overall function

JOB PURPOSE

The purpose of this role is to work with the Sales, Account Managers and Marketing Teams to ensure a smooth roll out with all Employers on Pension Wizard to increase employee engagement throughout the journey.

 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with the Sales team to gather client requirements through fact find process
  • To work as part of a team to deliver all Employer Pension Wizard launches
  • Carry out all testing activities to ensure each specification meets the requirements
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients both external and internal throughout the process
  • Continually review new ideas and methods to ensure that users are actively engaged with Pension Wizard
  • Carry out all activities to ensure Scheme and Employer Data is continually kept up to date on Pension Wizard
  • Drive the Pension Wizard system usage to achieve an agreed target
  • Continually monitor and provide reports on system usage
  • Maintain accurate client and business records
  • Support clients through the full system implementation lifecycle and beyond
  • Liaise with the Marketing team to co-ordinate a communication strategy appropriate to and in line with each employer’s launch requirements

About the role

Wealth Wizards are building a strong, customer-focussed UX capability to help them better understand customer needs and desires using principles from Lean Startup and Design Thinking.

The CTO will build a stellar engineering capability to allow the product teams to execute at high velocity, designing and running experiments, gaining customer and market insights and iterating more effectively than our competitors.

Key Responsibilities
• Member of Executive Committee with accountability and budget responsibility for engineering delivery
• Manage a department of currently 17 technical staff
• Drive the quality of Lean/Agile best practice, ensuring alignment with evolving business objectives and product vision
• Lead the technical vision and establish the principles to shape architectural decision making
• Embed quality engineering and continuous improvement throughout the delivery life-cycle
• Align engineering delivery with other key stakeholders, particularly Product Management, Customer Service and Business Development, as well as external customers
• Establish Wealth Wizards reputation for world class engineering in the FinTech sector and in the UK Midlands
• Manage technology sourcing in addition to staff, e.g. hosting and related services
• Establish and evidence governance appropriate for our regulated status and that of our customers
• Member of Risk and Compliance Committee with responsibility for Information/Cyber Security
• Plan and implement future growth through an appropriate combination of internal headcount and external partnerships, e.g. nearshoring
